worshipThis Sunday, we would like to invite you to worship with us by responding to the truths of God’s word as seen in the book of 1 Peter (Prayer and Song) and Genesis 2 (Sermon).  We’ll read portions of it together and allow 1 Peter to inform our prayers and fuel our songs and Genesis 2 to shape and mold our hearts.

Below is the order of our service:

[Worshipful Response and Closing] Doxology

Here are two things to note:

  1. In order to be mindful of time and text driven, we’ve chosen 1-2 stanzas of each hymn that align thematically.
  2. All Church denominations/traditions have their form of “liturgy” (how you do things in the service). This is a little bit different that our normal service structure.

Here are two requests:

  1. As we approach this Sunday, would you read through this wonderful epistle?  It is often said, “The more you spend time with this fisherman (Peter), the deeper your nets will go.”
  2. In preparation for celebrating Communion/The Lord’s Supper, here are a few Scriptures that will guide your heart:
    • Matthew 5:24 “Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
    • 1 Corinthians 11:27-28  “Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
    • 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We eagerly await our coming Savior together with you and we look forward to gathering with you as we wait,
